"Camping" for Lexi's Birthday
We are going "camping" today for Lexi's Birthday. We're not actually going to be sleeping out in tents, but we did rent a cabin in a mountain park. It's still a little early in the year to be camping outside at that high of an elevation. Regardless, we'll take pictures, and I'll do my best to post some of them when we get back.

Andrew and Grandpa
Andrew got to see a truck up close. Grandpa and I took him to Grandpa's work so he could see a truck. He has been obsessed with trucks for quite some time now.

Happy Groundhog Day
It seems as though Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this year. So, it would seem that there should be six more weeks of winter. Considering that it is almost 60 degrees here today. I'm ok with that.

The Rain has Arrived
The first of several expected rain storms this week has arrived. It has been a pretty steady drizzle for most of the morning. I can normally save the water in our tanks in order to water the grass and the garden. However, our tanks are already full, and all of this water is running out of the overflows onto the ground. Oh well, at least it's raining.

Gardening Begins
I tilled in the grass clippings that I've been collecting over the summer. Hopefully, it will add some nutrients into the soil and help to hold in a little moisture. I battled with the garden drying out most of last year. I finally put together a drip irrigation system, and the plants took off. Unfortunately, it was a little late in the year. We were able to get several zucchinis, a few tomatoes, some green beans, and some watermelon that never quite got big enough to eat. I hope that next year will yield a little better output.
